Hi Norm, I'm not sure what's happening there - you may need to give us a call as I'm not sure what you mean by "Tab."
To set up opening CCA balances, click on the Setup menu and choose CCA/Depreciation. You should see a table with all of the classes applicable to your balance sheet laid out 1 class per line.
Click on the line on which you want to establish an opening balance for the year and then click on the Edit button at the bottom of the window. You should then be able to set your beginning balance.
