Hi Louise!
Dividend payments are entered as a withdrawal from whichever account it comes out of. Your line type will be EQ, and you should have a dividends account there (if not, you will need to set one up). This amount will appear on the line as a negative number, since dividends are a contra-equity account and will always have a negative balance in it.
