Hi,
I'm considering purchasing Field Manager PRO 360 for a farming operation. We currently have many years of data (yields\rotations\soil samples\\fertilizer applied\manure etc). This historical data is pertinent to the ongoing success of our farming operation. I want to move away from the mess of files, spreadsheets, etc etc and amalgamate it all into one central location.
My question is: Can I add this historical data to agExpert? I know it would take a lot of input time to do this, but is it possible?

Hello :) In Field Manager PRO and PRO 360 you can indeed add those historical years. This software will allow you to create years either forward or backward as necessary.
If you're looking at AgExpert Analyst (the accounting software), because it has to have starting balances, we can't create year's going backwards, but what we can do is start at a specific historical point and work forwards from there to the current day.
You're right it would take a lot of input time to get it all in there, regardless of which software you're using but I think that having all of that information in one place would make the time worth it in the end. As with any record keeping software, the more detail or information you have, the better your reporting will be.
