Am wondering if there is a way to search thru vendors the activity thru each vendor? Meaning each cheque etc that has been issued

Hey Deb :) As long as you've been filling in the supplier field when entering transactions you will definitely be able to do that. Click on Reports > Report Console > Contacts > Purchases to get a report of transactions by Vendor.
