Ei paid me a small business hiring credit by direct deposit .where do I credit this to make my bank statement balance.
Can't do payable payments for the payroll?

    Hi Joan, If that amount was deposited into your bank then enter a deposit and offset that against your Employer EI Expense account (it will be a negative amount as it's crediting back the expense for you.) If they didn't give you a cheque, but just put the credit on your account then enter a Payable Charge against CRA Payroll for a negative amount, offset that with the same Employer EI Expense account and again it will be a negative amount in this example as well.
