has anyone ever had an issue with inventories, where the inventory report shows a zero balance in terms of amount, but a dollar value is still there? I have no salt on the farm end of year, and I adjusted the inventory to show this, but then in the report it had a negative number instead of 0, and a dollar value of -108. When I adjusted it to make it 0 on the report through the inventory adjustments, it says I have a positive dollar value of $15. I cannot figure out what is going on. If it is zero, it should be zero. Not negative.
please help me. I've been working at this for over an hour now and it is the last thing I need to finish to send all the data to the accountant.
It is possible there is a fraction of an amount there. Are you able to view the general ledger for that inventory account for all dates to see if there is something from the history? Just a thought.
