Hi. I am attempting to split a Capital Asset (3 discs purchased under one bill of sale in 2013). One of the discs has now been sold this year. I keep getting a message in the "split asset" screen that the date must be within the current fiscal year. Do I change the fiscal year to the year in AgExpert to 2013 and then post the split? or is this even possible to split now if the asset was purchased outside the current fiscal year? In which case how would I record the sale?

Hi Dolores, The date on the split side of the window needs to be in the current fiscal year, the original purchase date on the right hand side should stay as it was. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
