Hi...question: is the purchase of a firearm (Farmer), considered a capital asset or treated as an expense...firearm worth 700 plus dollars?

Hi Louise, a firearm would be a Capital asset and could be placed in class 8 but I would check with your accountant to see which class they would like it classified under.
