In Accounting the HST rate is administered on our end, based on official percentages. As long as you have your operating province set correctly, then the HST rate should pull through at the right percentage.
If you are having trouble balancing the HST in a transaction, let us know. The tax code being used in the transaction is often the culprit, but if there is something else going on, we will definitely take the steps to fix it up.
