Our software is agriculture specific so all of our business categories are also agriculture specific. If I needed to set up a set of books for a business not covered under our provided categories then I would leave the categories unselected in the setup wizard and once I have gotten into the new data file I can create custom income, expense and if necessary inventory accounts.
