I'm getting this error message, not sure how to fix it...
Code 4: The header and total accounts in this data file aren't sequenced properly. Review the chart of accounts to ensure that each header account is followed by exactly one total account.
The total account 5120-00 has no matching header account
Hi Richard, That error message should give you an account number reference. That error message pops up when there is a structural problem with your Chart of Accounts - typically around where the account number indicated in the error message lives. For every HEADER account, there needs to be a TOTAL account before the next HEADER. I did a generic list to demonstrate. Essentially, you just need to create either a HEADER or TOTAL account to fix the sequence so it's happening properly in your Chart of Accounts.
