Hi Kaylee! My guess would be you don't have Capital Assets turned on as an option. Go to your Setup Menu, select Preferences, click on the right-most tab Optional Features, check off the Capital Asset option and click Save. One note, you'll have to close the transaction if you were in the middle of it before seeing the option.
