Hi Danielle, if you've been using AgExpert for less then a year you should be able to adjust your opening balances by going to Setup -> Opening Balances. If that is not available to you, then you can do a General Journal entry and offset it to Retained Earnings. If your loan amount is decreasing from its beginning balance you would debit it, and if it is increasing you would credit it. Before posting it to Retained Earnings I would suggest checking with your Accountant especially if you are a Corporation.
