5999 suspense how to open and see all entries
Hi Michelle, In AgExpert Analyst, account 5999 is typically a total account and just reports a total of all the expenses in the section above it. As such, there are no actual entries against that account for you to view.
In AgExpert Accounting the operation is a bit different in that we don't make sure of "total" accounts like we do in Analyst. In that case, if you had created account 5999 as a suspense account then you would just use the General Ledger report to review the entries made against that account.
The General Ledger report has the same function in both the desktop and cloud software which is to report the details of the entries made against any indicated ledger account. So regardless of which software you're using, that's the report you're looking for to see the details on any account. You can also drill down from the Income and Expense report to the General Ledger report by clicking on the account balance from the Income and Expense report..
