Hi, after complete laptop failure I have downloaded Ag/expert Analyst 2015 on a new computer and am trying to create a new data file (starting from scratch). I enter a filename and it keeps coming up with an error (file name not valid) any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello Dale... Are you in the open data file widow or the create data file... I would recommend closing out of the window and try again to click create a new data file... I hope this helps.
