I am setting up capital assets under Setup - then Capital Assets ... however, the amounts are not showing when I print the Balance Sheet. Do these amounts also have to be entered in Opening Balances under Setup? Thanks!!

    Hi Lisa!

    You are correct in saying that the pool amount has to be entered as an Opening Balances.

    The Setup > Capital Assets screen is just what it sounds like - it sets up your capital asset list. It is separate from the balance sheet, and does not update the number. You need to enter that opening balance in the specific class number in order to make it appear on your balance sheet.
