I want to enter a capital asset purchase but it is only a loan - no money was taken from the bank account. Do I have to do 2 entries, how do I make it work to show in the capital assets?

Hello Tracey, You would do a withdrawal of zero at the top from any bank account. First line would be the Capital asset purchase, second line would be your loan addition. This will ensure that your transaction is balances. I hope this helps
